The Magistrate Court handles Garnishments, Foreclosures, Issuance of Criminal Arrest Warrants, Hearings for Probable Cause and Commitment Hearings on Arrest Warrants Prosecution of Misdemeanor Deposit Account Fraud, and Prosecution of County Ordinance Violations. If a case dispute is 15,000 or less the Magistrate Court will handle the case.

The Probate Court's handles and offers the following: estates, Guardianship, Land line disputes, Right of way disputes, Involuntary treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, Involuntary commitment, Vital records - birth and death, Passport agent, Issue hand gun permits, Issue marriage licenses. The mission of the State Court of Henry County to do justice, as nearly as possible, to all persons coming before our Court, and to the community at large.
