Union Grove High
School provides classes for students attending 9th - 12th grade. Approximately
112 teachers teach the schools curriculum to 1919 students. Five hundred and
seventy eight students attend the 9th grade; Five hundred and one students attend
the 10th grade; Four hundred and sixty one students attend the 11th grade; Tree
hundred and seventy nine students attend the 12th grade. Union Grove High School
has a Teacher Student Ratio of 1:17 and has the following ethnic background:
Asian 1%, Hispanic 1%, Black 12%, White 85%, and Unknown 1 %.
Henry County Middle
School has approximately 1385 students attending grades 6th – 8th.
This Middle School has a total of 85 teachers with a Teacher Student Ratio of
1:16 . Four hundred and ninety students attend the 6th grade; Four hundred and
fifty four students attend the 7th grade; Four hundred and forty one students
attend the 8th grade. Henry County Middle School has the following ethnic background:
Asian 1%, Hispanic 4%, Black 35%, White 59%, and Unknown 1 %.
East Lake Elementary
School holds classrooms from PK- 5th grade and has a total of 1004 students.
One hundred and forty four students attend Kindergarten; One hundred and seventy
students attend the 1st grade; One hundred and fifty six students attend the
2nd grade; One hundred and fifty eight students attend the 3 rd grade; One hundred
and ninety two students attend the 4th grade; One hundred and seventy seven
students attend the 5th grade. This Elementary School has approximately 65 teachers
with a Student Ratio of 1:15. East Lake Elementary School student ethnic background
is as follows: Asian 1%, Hispanic 1%, Black 7%, and White 91%.
